Symposium
From May 25 – 29, 2019, the Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan Foundation will host the 2019 International Tai Chi Chuan Symposium in Selvino, Italy. Six leading tai chi chuan grandmasters, representing the traditional styles of Chen, Yang, Wu, Wu (Hao), Sun and He tai chi chuan will share their outstanding experience and skill so that tai chi chuan practitioners can continue to benefit from the practice of this unique art and teach others too. There will also be an academic program focused on research on the health benefits of tai chi chuan and a tournament for Yang style tai chi chuan practitioners. This is the first time ever for such a tai chi event in Europe and an opportunity that all tai chi practitioners will not want to miss.
More information will become available soon through our symposium website and a symposium news bulletin emailed to members.

We appreciated the great diversity of different styles of tai chi chuan. It was a great opportunity to represent the Yang Family Tai Chi, demonstrate the quality of our traditional practices and meet the leaders of the French Federation to set up a future collaboration.
Our teams representing Yang Family France were successful and received three bronze medals (weapons and bare hands) and many individual medals. Video: https://youtu.be/vhmuxzGeAhs
More than a competition, it was above all a space of meeting and sharing and an opportunity to perfect the essential form.
