I was born in Argentina in 1958, moved to Israel in 1976 and finally to France in 1983.
I started to practice Qigong in 2002 as a mean of improving my health and started to practice Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan style, Tui Shou, Taiji Jan and Taiji Dao since 2003 at Yang ChengFu Paris center with Duc and Carole N’Guyen. Since then, Tai Chi Chuan became one of the most enjoyable adventures of my life, physically, spiritually and socially.
Since 2007 I participated regularly to the Seminar with Grand Master Yang Jun organized by the Paris YCF Center and I participated to the Grand Master Yang Jun Instructors Seminar in Italy in 2013.
Since 2010, I am teaching Tai Chi Chuan in Yang ChengFu Paris Center. I obtained my level four ranking (4th Duan) during the 4th Invitational Tournament in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, China in 2012.
I hold a Master degree in Medical Sciences from Hadassah School of Medicine in Jerusalem, Israel, and a Ph.D. in Neurosciences from Paris University in France.
I am director of the Sensory Processing and Plasticity laboratory and co-director of the Department of Neuroscience, Information and Complexity in Gif sur Yvette, France. My research interest includes the study of sensory processing and plasticity and the neural basis of learning.
During the Second International TCC symposium in Louisville, USA in 2014 I had the privilege to give the Opening Conference on “The Learning Brain”, where I presented some ideas on how the modern Neurosciences can help us to teach Tai Chi Chuan and commented the recent scientific publications on the benefits of Tai Chi Chuan practice in unhealthy patients.
